The Antinomy of Faith and Sense

WoW! What an awesome Service we had! This Sunday Mark Your Calendars. We will be having our One Year Anniversary. You don't wont to miss it. July 5, 2009. One Year and Counting. The Best is Yet to Come.

Hebrews 11:1 (King James Version)1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Faith and Sense are not the same thing. In fact they are an antinomy. An antinomy is two things that seem to contradict one another but in a real sense both are true in their own right. Faith is not sense and sense is not faith. Faith makes sense when you and I have the revelation of what Jesus is saying.

In the gospel of John verse 2:1-10 we see Jesus's first miracle. He told the men to take pots and fill them with water- this makes sense. Then He told them to draw the water out- this makes sense too. But finally He instructs them to give it to the governor - this did not make sense. The reason was because the governor wanted wine not water, but they received a miracle when they did it by faith, even when it did not make sense.

Today, move by your faith, It might not make sense, but on your way, your faith will make sense because you are moving by faith.

Matrix of Faith

This Sunday is going to be Awesome. Mark you calendars for July 5th, 2009 This will be our One Year Anniversary. You Don't wont to miss it.

Galatians 6:9 (King James Version)

9And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

One of the meanings of the word "Matrix" means:  a surrounding medium or structure. Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. In Life there are four seasons. Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. These four seasons come every year and what you sow in them, you and I will reap.

As Christians we have what's called due season. This is God's kiros moment in which what we have already prayed for and believed for comes to pass. Due season happens at the right time and at the right place. The only perquisite is for us to not doubt and to continue confessing the Word of God.

The Word of God will never return back void. Don't quit when you are almost there. Your best days are ahead of you. Don't stop speaking what God said you can do. You're royalty, you and I should live life to the fullest with Christ as the center and circumference, but if we stop, we will not obtain what God has already said is ours.

Today, take the time and relax, He has it all worked out. Our decision to have faith in God is the matrix of our spiritual life. If God said it, then it has to happen. He cannot fail, He does not have the power to fail.

Covered

Are you excited? Tonight is Encounter Night and I can't wait. On July 5th, 2009 BOLWC will celebrate our one year anniversary!!! So mark you calendars, bring your friends. It's going to be a service you Don't wont to miss.

Exodus 12:23 (King James Version)

For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.

When it rains out side, most people grab an umbrella and it serves as the purpose to protect you from the rain. This is the same concept when the Lord instructed the Israelites to place the blood of the lamb slain on the door post and the death spirit would pass over. When we accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior, death had to pass over our lives.

Every day of our lives we should know, death can't cross the blood. When you get ready to go to work or send the kids off, cover them with the blood. When you start to get fearful, remember the blood has covered us. Yes we do the practical, but God does the providential. Place your life, your fiances, your family, your career all under the blood and when death comes to devastate what God has in trusted you and I, it has to pass over.

Remember you have spiritual life insurance and you are fully covered by God. Nothing in your life is not covered as long as you stay under the umbrella of God's protection.

This protection is predicated upon our obedience of His Word. Today, take time and make sure you're under His protection. Your Premium is has already been paid in full thanks to King Jesus.

Matters of the Heart

WoW! What an Awesome Service we had this past Sunday. If you missed it, you can watch it online, but theirs nothing like being in the house.

Psalm 45:1 My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

The bible says out of the abundance of the heart the mouth will speak. What you and I place in our hearts will eventually come out. If we constantly fear obstacles that come in our way, we will eventually speak it. Job said "What I feared the most has come upon me." His fear over took him.

Our heart should be so full of the Word of God, that whatever situation we are in, whether good or bad, we are speaking what He has already spoken. When our heart has His words and not words that are opposite against the will of God in our heart, then are heart will be able to compose a good matter.

Today, take time and ponder, think about, consider what God's heart is speaking. Compose a spiritual symphony of confessions that are God thought, God provoked. Then and only then we will have good success.

Creative

Are you Ready? This Sunday is going to be an Awesome Service. Don't Miss It.

Genesis 1:1 (New International Version)

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

God is the creator of all things. We were created to be creative in every area of our life. You might say, I don't have any creativeness in me, but God says the different. In this same Chapter God told Adam and Eve to multiply and replenish the earth.

The Hebrew definition for replenish has many meanings, but one is, a wide application. It denotes someone expanding the way they think. Any other words a person allowing themselves to be creative. You were born to be creative in whatever profession you were in. Think about a child. He or she will do things that are creative, whether good or bad. I know of a child that decided every time they would go to the restroom they would make a drawing on the wall with their crayola. This didn't work to well. But the point is we were created to be creative for God's glory.

We stopped being creative when we stopped dreaming. Today, start dreaming again and allow God's creativeness to come out of you. Your creative ideas from God are the best keep secret. God is the creator of dreams and aspirations. He has given each and every one of us the ability to be creative for Him.

What do you See?

WoW! It's Wednesday. I'm excited about Encounter Night Tonight. Don't miss it. It starts at 7:30 P.M. go to www.breathoflifechurch.com for directions.

Numbers 22:31 (New International Version)

Then the LORD opened Balaam's eyes, and he saw the angel of the LORD standing in the road with his sword drawn. So he bowed low and fell face down.

Many times in life we can get blinded by circumstances in our life. The objective we have to keep in focus is not to make a decision based upon your circumstance, but on the Word God gives you. Peter was in a boat with other disciples and their was a storm, but he saw Jesus coming to them walking on water. Peter didn't make a decision based upon his circumstance, instead he said, "Lord Bid me to come". And Jesus said Come. Peter moved on the Word of the Lord.

We must not make decisions based upon our circumstance. If we do, we will reap the result of the circumstance. If you are in a marital situation, don't make a move based upon what you feel and think, base it on the Word of the Lord. If you are in a financial situation, don't make a move based on what you see, See the Word of the Lord. His Word is the best answer, because He has our best interest out and will lead us into His Will.

Balaam's eyes were opened and he could see the decision he made based upon his circumstance was wrong and God intercepted the plan of the enemy and he saw the Word of the Lord and didn't die.

Today, take time and see the Word of the Lord, not what you feel, think, or want. He has the best strategy to accomplish every vision and dream in our life.

Pastor Mark

Extreme

Wow! What an awesome service we had. If you missed it, you can go and see it.

Isaiah 1:19 (King James Version)

If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

The question is not are you obedient, the question is are you willing. Willingness comes from a life that is yielded to Christ. Life is consistently about making sacrifices. We must be willing -which means yielding to God's will in every area of our life. It's easier to go half way, then go all the way. Jesus said it like this: Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. It must be a willing and obedient attitude.

The more we desire to move up, the more the sacrifice. One way to put is like this. You have to give up to go up and you have to give up even more to stay up. But the things we sacrifice is not worthy to compare what God is going to release to us.

Romans 8:18 (King James Version)For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

You can and will make it. With God nothing is impossible. I know and am fully persuaded God will come through for you and me.

Profits and Dividends

Are you ready for an awesome weekend. Plan to come out to Breath of life Worship Centre´this weekend. You will not wont to miss it.

Isaiah 48:17 (King James Version)Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.

What an Awesome God we serve. I want to talk to you about God's way of profiting in life. The word dividends means the following:

1. a sum of money paid regularly (typically quarterly) by a company to its shareholders out of its profits (or reserves).

• payment divided among a number of peoplee.g.members of acooperative or creditors of an insolvent estate.• an individuals share of a dividend.• ( dividends) a benefit from an action or policy.
When we serve God with all of our heart, He releases unto us His dividends so that we will profit in life. These dividend come in different ways. The first and most precious dividend came when He released His son Jesus to die on the cross for all of our sins. This dividend profited us in every area of our life. We could go to the father openly and without the veil. Jesus bridged the gap between Man and God. He restored all the benefits of living a life to the fullest.  WoW! what great dividends we received by simply accepting Jesus into our hearts. Next after Jesus returned to heaven, the bible states God released the Holy Spirit to help guide us into all the truths in life.
These dividends go on and on. Jesus said when our mind is stayed upon Him, His peace is released. He went on to say when our ways please Him our enemies our at peace with us.(Proverbs 16:17).
We gain profits in life when we listen and obey what God has said to do, He knows what the best way to accomplish the goal. He also leads us by the way of Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit leads us to the will of God for our life. It might be a feeling in your gut not to do go or say that. This is God's way of leading you and I in the way we should go.
Remember God's ways is the best way. He has our best interest at stake. When He instructs us to move, we move. Isaiah 1:19 If, we are willing and obedient we will eat the good of the Land.

Words

It's Wednesday only two more days until the weekend. What an awesome week we have had so far. With God nothing is impossible. If you did not hear the message on Sunday, You need to get to hear. It is life changing.

Mark 12:13 (King James Version)

13And they send unto him certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, to catch him in His words.

God is the creator of words. It tells us in the book of Genesis God spoke and the world was framed. God knows every word that has been spoken and will be spoken.

Jesus said He only speaks of those things He has heard from God. We are to speak God's Word into our situation. We may say it differently, but it means the same.

For example: Jesus said say to the mountain. Well you might not be standing in front of a mountain, but is it is a metaphor to things, people, places, that are blocking us from growing. We are to speak the Word of God into that situation and see God move and bring us into His good success.

His Word will never return void, but will go out and accomplish what it was to do.

Leading Vs. Managing

WOW! What an Awesome Service we had this past Sunday. If you missed it, you can view it on our website www.breathoflifechurch.com , but there is nothing like coming in person.

Matthew 4:19 (King James Version)

And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

Leadership is influence, nothing more or less. When you and I started following Christ, we were placed on the potters wheel. You know when God makes someone it's a process. There are 2 key points in this scripture.

1. Follow Me. As Christians we are to follow Christ in every area of our life. This is responding to the entire Word of God. Giving our finances ( 10% of our gross income to our local church and offering), our time (coming faithfully to the house of God, and our talents( serving with the gifts that God created us with for Him). Following Christ means following Him in our conversations, actions, and the way we live our life.

2. I Will Make you. This is the process of allowing God to develop the person from within. God starts making us by putting His hand on areas that are opposite and against His will in our life. Then He begins to tells us to grow up and start speaking His Word. People are afraid to allow God to make them, because they think they will never be able to accomplish what God promised in their life. Jesus says the very opposite. He said I have come that you may have life, and life more abundantly. Life is more than material goods; it's having a peace of mind, a healthy body, a healthy marriage, knowing God has your back.

1 Peter 5:10 (King James Version)But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.

You will make it and you will come out ahead. Nothing is impossible for God to do in your life. You and I were predestined to succeed in life with Christ.

Are you?

What an awesome and productive week and the best is yet to come.

2 Samuel 23:15-17 (King James Version)

15And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me drink of the water of the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate!

16And the three mighty men brake through the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem, that was by the gate, and took it, and brought it to David: nevertheless he would not drink thereof, but poured it out unto the LORD.

17And he said, Be it far from me, O LORD, that I should do this: is not this the blood of the men that went in jeopardy of their lives? therefore he would not drink it. These things did these three mighty men.

What courage and commitment these three men had to their leader. They counted the cost and paid whatever the price. Their allegiance was to God, and their connection was to their leader. King David was a man of integrity and character. There are three things we can see here.

1. These men were dedicated to the cause and connected to the vision of their leader. We must be dedicated to the cause and connected to our leader.

2. Next they were hears and doers. They listened to King David, they were always ready to step to the plate. We must be willing to listen to our leader and not listen to the lies of the enemy.

3. Lastly they counted the cost and paid the price. They took hold of the vision of their leader. We must take on the vision of our leader, not just say it, but let it be our vision. The corporate world calls it "taking ownership." We take ownership by our commitment and our actions.

Today, are you one of these three mighty warriors or are you a hearer and not a doer.

Be a hearer and a doer and see your vision for your life come to pass too.

God Bless,

Pastor Mark

Confident

It's Wednesday and we are almost half way through the work week. Tonight we have our first bible study. You don't wont to miss it. It is going to be awesome.

Philippians 1:6 (King James Version)

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Being confident is not being proud or arrogant. Thinking no one can do it better, no it is the very opposite. Confidence comes from within. Let me give an example. There was a bull dog, and every day a poodle would walk by the yard with its owner and would bark violently at the bull dog, but the bull dog never moved or bark. You see, the bull dog knew or was so confident, he didn't need to address the pettiness of this poodle. One bit could kill the poodle. So it is with us. We must not be moved when the poodles in life talk to us through emails, text, twitter, facebook, IM, or whatever form of communication. We must be confident in what God has placed in us.

Jesus said we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. We are more than. You need to walk around the room and declare you are more than. More than any negative thought, more than any lie the enemy places in front of you. You and I were born to live life to the fullest and with God all things are possible.

God Bless,

Pastor

Double for your Trouble

Wow! What an awesome service we had! If you have not been able to come, you must come and experience it. There is nothing like being in person at an event and at Breath of Life Worship Centre´we have an encounter with God.

I wanted to talk to you today about God redeeming the time.

Zechariah 9:12 (King James Version)

Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee;

The Lord put this on my heart today. Maybe you have been through something, I want you to know God will give you double for your trouble. He is a God that sees no limits when it comes to you and I accomplishing what He has placed in our hearts. Numbers 23:19  in the New Living Translation says it like this:

God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?

Whatever has happened or might happen in our life, remember He does not have the power to fail and He will never fail you or me. All He ask is that we stay strong in faith believing and knowing He will come through. It's like a collage student and they finish the first year, then go to the next year, and finally reach the fourth year and graduate. The first year might have felt it was going to be eternity before they finished collage, but they never lost sight of the goal, even though it may have taken some more than 4 years to complete their degree, they never stopped, but continued until the goal was achieved.

God wants us to know no matter what has happened, or will happen, the vision and goal for your life and mine will come to pass as long as we stay connected to him and continue in faith. He is more than able to help us.

God Bless,

Pastor
