Covered

I wanted to blog and give encouragement to every one.

The bible states in
Psalm 91

1He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

5Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

8Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

9Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

10There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

11For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

13Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

14Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

15He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

16With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

In verse 10 it says no plague will come near you. When we accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior the bible says He covers us. It's like being under an umbrella. Yes do the practical and  listen to what the the authorities are saying, but know, That Jesus' blood covers us. Apply the Word of God today and see His protection upon us.

Hungry

It's Wednesday and only two more work days left. Some people live for Friday, others live for the weekend, but I live every day for Christ. No matter what day of the week it might be, even if there is an event that I'm excited about, I live everyday for Christ. This teaches me that everyday is special. We only have one time to live and then eternity. So live life for Christ, and you will be able to enjoy, not endure day to day, even if you hate your job. It will get better.

Today I wanted to talk to you about being hungry. How hungry are you for Christ? Is He the one the drives you or do other things drive you? This question can only be answered by you.

Matthew 5:6 (The Message)

"You're blessed when you've worked up a good appetite for God. He's food and drink in the best meal you'll ever eat."

I like the way The Message bible puts it. We must work up an appetite for God. It's like this. If I tell my wife were going  out to eat, she will want to know where we are going. She does this because she wants to work up an appetite for what she is going to be eating. If I decide to change restaurants, even if she likes the other restaurant too, she will tell me "Mark I have already begun to dream about what I am going to order and what I a going to drink even maybe where she is going to sit, if we have been there before." You see, she began to hunger for what see had tasted or had heard about that restaurant. When you hunger for God, we must begin to remember how you felt after read you bible. The last service you were in where God's presence completing surrounded you and even though things were not altogether, you knew it was going to work out. When we hunger and thirst for God, then we will do like my wife and get excited and anticipate the meal that is going to be served.

God Bless,

Pastor Mark

The Greatest Investment

Wow! What an awesome service we had! If you missed it, you can go to our first page and view it. I encourage you to stay faithful to the House of God. it is the living room of God.

We added twitter to our website, so I will be twittering. If you don't have an account, set one up. We also announced having membership class this coming Sunday at 8:00 a.m. before Service. We will have child care. I want to see everyone there. Click here and register online

Today I wanted to talk to you about Seeing What Christ Sees

1 Samuel 16:7 (King James Version)

7But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

What a bold statement God told Samuel by telling Him I have refused him. God was not refusing him because of how successful or how hansom he was, no because God was looking at the heart. Have you ever gone to look at Car. First it is the style that draws our attention, but then we go to see what is under the hood. Many times we look at situations and areas of our life and see it as they way everyone around us sees it. Instead of seeing it the way God sees it. God could see how great and powerful King David was going to be. He invested Himself in someone that no one else wanted to take the time to invest in. You see, God invests His time in us and sees us living life to the fullest. He sees us having a successful marriage, a successful attitude, a successful life. But we must be willing to take the next step and accept the investment God is desiring to do in our life.

He knows the return is out of this world.

Be Blessed,

Pastor Mark

Taking Ownership

Today is Friday and what an awesome week. I want to encourage all to come out and experience Breath of Life first hand. We have an awesome Praise and Worship led by my wife Pastor Veronica Brown and her assistant Minister Fay.

I wanted to talk to you about taking ownership.

Deuteronomy 28 (King James Version)

1And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

2And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.

When we take ownership of what God says is ours, then we will see how He will bless us in every area of our life. His voice is the only voice when obeyed, will cause the release of favor, joy, and any other situation you and I are in to be fulfilled. I encourage you to stay faithful to Him and see His reward.

God Bless,

Pastor Mark

Creating a Strategy

Well it's Wednesday and what an awesome day it has been. I was able to seek away and go to It's A Grind to purchase some Strawberry Banana Smoothies. My whole family loves them.

Today I wanted to talk to you about creating a strategy God's way. The bible instructs us in Proverbs 3:5-6 (New Living Translation)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart;do not depend on your own understanding.
6 Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

Every vision has a goal and every goal has a strategy to accomplish the goal. The strategy is "how" the goal is achieved. We obtain the strategy by:
1. Seeking God. Look what King David did.

2 Samuel 5:23-25 (King James Version)

23And when David enquired of the LORD, he said, Thou shalt not go up; but fetch a compass behind them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees.

24And let it be, when thou hearest the sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt bestir thyself: for then shall the LORD go out before thee, to smite the host of the Philistines.

25And David did so, as the LORD had commanded him; and smote the Philistines from Geba until thou come to Gazer

King David Inquired for the right move to make.

2. Follow the instructions God gives you. Many times we see opportunities and never follow through on the instructions God has given you to obtain what you have been desiring.
3. See The reward.

Cause

WoW! What an awesome service we had. We released the start I believe of one of the greatest things and that is myrighteouscause.com Go to it.

Psalms 35:27 " Psalm 35:27 (King James Version) Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant."

God's cause is for man kind to life in the Zoe type of life. To live life on the abundant side of life. The only way to accomplish this is through the teaching, preaching, and expressions of love. We have more about this on the website. So go and see it for yourself and get behind God's cause.

This is the day the Lord has made and I will rejoice in it. Today I started another fast. I know and I am fully persuaded God will come through for you and me.

Luke 12:34 (King James Version)
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

We have to make sure that our heart is fixed upon Him at all times. The heart of God is for us to serve Him, but also express His heart through our day to day life.

Today Take time and allow Him to be an expression in your life through something you do.

Know the Best is yet to come

Solid

Unity is one of the biggest tools to accomplish the goals and vision in your life. If your not in unity with the company you work for, there will be division. God wants us to be unified first with Him. Then we will be able to unify with those around us for God's glory, other people's gain, and for our growth.

Ephesians 4:3 (New Living Translation)

Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.

We must make every effort to keep in unity with God's will, way, and wisdom. If there is no unity, then division will be sure to happen. I want to encourage you to stay in unity with God's will. It may seem at times that nothing is working, but it is. God knows and will perform what He has spoken because if He spoke it, then it has to happen.

God Bless,

Pastor Mark

Celebrating Life

Today is my birthday. I thank God for giving me life. This is the day the Lord has made and I will rejoice. I woke up this morning went to prayer, then went and had breakfast with my wife and my youngest son. Marcus was still asleep.

I thank God for giving me life.
Jeremiah 1:5 (King James Version)

5Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

This means before I was thought of, God had appointed the time, place, and destination for my life. God has planed, purposed, and destined you and I to succeed in every area of my life. It has been a long road to the promise land, but this is the place Cedar Park, TX, This is the time, 2009 and this is the season.

When you come into the season or the broma-the will of God, then the brosis-God's supply and support will be there.

It is an honor and privilege to be the husband of such an awesome, anointed, successful, entrepreneur, and virtuous woman of God my wife Veronica Brown. It is an honor to be the father of two anointed, successful, and energetic boys Mark II, and Matthew David. I am also proud and honor to be the Pastor of the greatest church on the planet Breath of Life Worship Centre´.

Built to Last

What an AWESOME SERVICE WE HAD! If you were not able to attend, click here to see the service.

Jesus said upon this Rock I will build my Church.
If we are not building our life on the rock, then the foundation will not be able to withstand when things go wrong.  God desires for us to be built to last. To be able to withstand the pressures of life. To succeed in every area of our life.

He builds us by doing the following:

1. Having a daily devotion
2. By connecting to leadership by coming to Church regularly
3. By giving 10% of our gross income to our Church
4. By serving in our church with our talents
5. By confessing what His word states vs. what we feel or think
6. By continuing to allow Him to remove anything that is contrary, opposite, and against His will in our life.

As we do these 6 steps, we will be sure to build our life in every area of our life upon the rock which is Jesus. This will lead to living on  the abundant side of life.

God Bless,

Pastor

Happy Easter

Happy Resurrection weekend! With God all things are possible. Jesus arose and because He got up and you can come out of any situation.

Luke 24:46 (King James Version)
And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

Even though Jesus had to suffer, He obtained the promise and is seated at the right hand of the father. Jesus never gave up, and so are we never to give up. Just as He arose from the grave on the third day, so will you and I arise from situations in our life that has or have hindered our life. He is the resurrection and life.

God Bless,

Pastor

Nothing but the Truth

It's Wednesday and only 4 more days until Easter! I can't wait until Easter Sunday. The reason is because this is day the world recognizes our Lord and Savior rose from the dead. He is the only man that died for our sins and rose from the dead. Because He arose, so can we out of every situation in our life.

Matthew 28:7 (The Message)

"Now, get on your way quickly and tell his disciples, 'He is risen from the dead. He is going on ahead of you to Galilee. You will see him there.' That's the message."

The message is Jesus has already gone ahead and has been through what we are facing today. He faced distrust, betrayal, hurt, victory, success, and most important the promise of bridging me and you to God. He never gave up when it seemed hard, He knew it would change, and so it is with you and me, it will change and get better. Hold on He will make sure we not only come out, but come out ahead.

I look forward to seeing all of you this Resurrection Sunday.

God Bless,

Pastor Mark

Wow! What an awesome service we had on Sunday. We are talking about being under the blood. You don't wont to miss this Sunday. It is going to be awesome. If you have not completed your Save 5 click here and do it now.

Luke 6:38 (New Living Translation)

Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.

Giving is a choice and what we sow we will reap. If you sow negative words you will reap the product of those words. We must be a people that speak nothing but God's Word. Know this whatever you give, it will be given back to you. Purpose in your heart to give and see God return to you greater than you ever expected. It might be to buy your c0-workers lunch, or send extra money with your child to school and have them buy another students lunch for the day. Teach them the principle of sowing and reaping. Remember in life, everything we do is a seed. What we sow we will reap.

You and I have the power to change the world by first touching heaven, then we can change earth. With God nothing is impossible.

God Bless,

Pastor Mark

Count the Cost

This week has really flown by and God is already doing things.

Luke 14:28 (King James Version)

For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?

As managers of our life we must count the cost of following Christ. This means you might run into situations that are contrary to God's will for you life. You might run into people who are nothing more than an opportunity for our development. Jesus said count the cost. Know that it will cost you to follow Christ. What we say, do, and think is examine by those around us, but we must be in right standing with God. Even when the enemy attacks remember God will rush in and lift up a standard.

Be Blessed,

Pastor Mark
